Home Remedy 1: Oatmeal 

Oats are fibre-rich food which reduces the absorption of cholesterol
in the blood and body, which regulates to lower bad cholesterol levels in the body.

Method:

1. Take 2 cups of fried oatmeal in a bowl, add finely chopped fruits and nuts.
2. Add water or milk and Stir and consume.
3. Repeat this daily for 7 days to lower cholesterol

 Home Remedy 2: Watermelon Seeds

watermelon seeds have lycopene pigment that helps a lot in reducing the cholesterol levels and  prevents the heart diseases

Method:

1. Dry watermelon seeds in the sun for few hours.
2. Roast these seeds and powder them.
3. Add 1 teaspoon of this watermelon seed powder to 1 glass of warm water.
4. Stir and drink it directly to cut down your high cholesterol levels 
5. Repeat this daily in the morning for 7 days to see results.

Onions are also called as the mother of vegetable.we include onions in our diet regularly Onions are effective in dealing with high cholesterol levels and lowers the risk of developing health problems.

Method:

1. Cut Onions into small slices.
2. Add 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder and sliced onion in a glass of buttermilk.
3. Mix well and consume it regularly to get rid of the problem.
4. Regular consumption will definitely lower your blood cholesterol.

Home Remedy 4: Coriander Seeds

Coriander seeds are the best in reducing cholesterol. They
not only reduce levels of LDL in the body, and also used for managing diabetes.

Method:

1. Take a glass of water in a pan and heat it till becomes warm.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of coriander seeds to it and stir.
3. Boil them about 15 to 20 minutes and remove.
4. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool down for few minutes and drink.
5. Drink this regularly for 2 – 3 times daily to reduce your cholesterol level.

Home Remedy 4: Turmeric

Turmeric is a rich source of curcumin which lowers cholesterol quickly. Consuming it daily increases your immunity to fight heart problems and liver problems 

Method:

1. Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
2. Add 1 ½ cup boiling water and stir.
3. Drink this regularly in the morning to get good results. 

Home Remedy 5: Gooseberry

Gooseberry has anti-hyperlipidemic, anti-atherogenic and hypolipidemic effects that promote the lipid concentration reduction thereby reduces your cholesterol levels. 

Method:

1. Make a powder of Gooseberry and add 1 teaspoon of it in 1 glass of warm water.
2. Stir well and drink this water in the morning on an empty stomach.

1. Fiber Rich Foods:

Eat these Fiber Rich Foods to reduce cholesterol 

Beans, barley, apples, prunes, brown rice, grapefruits, whole grains.

2. Omega – 3 Fatty Acids:

The best source of Omega 3 Faty acids includes Salmon, Herring, Mackerel, Lake trout, Tuna, Walnuts, Canola, Soybeans, Flaxseeds.

3.Saturated & Trans Fats:

Don't overeat these foods  Butter, meat, dairy products, 
vegetable oil, cookies, crackers, cakes, and snacks are high in saturated and trans fats.Avoid them as much you can

4. Monounsaturated & Polyunsaturated Fats:
